I can’t believe its taken me this long to finally try this beer. Been waiting, what, 10 years? Golden color, thin but firm head. Nose is a combo of citrus and dank hops, honeyed malts. Flavor almost balanced between a lightly sweet but crisp malt and the resiny hop flavors, but at the end it takes a big bitter turn, bracing and clean. Its really well built.

35,5 cl bottle @ Angleterre. Rated on 29.07.2010
Aroma is sweetish with exotic fruits, mango, pineapple and some caramel. Flavour is sweet with American hops, exotic fruits, mango, some grapefruit and caramel. Too sweet but not bad anyway.

Strong aroma of hops, citrus and pine. It has a very strong hop biiterness but also quite a creamy, malty feel to it too.

355ml bottle. Minimally cloudy golden colour with average to huge, firm, frothy, minimally lacing, off-white head. Hoppy, fruity aroma has notes of grapefruit, peach, resin, (over-)ripe tropical fruit, even pus. Taste is fruity with intense pineapple notes, mango, minimally biting, minimally grassy bitter hop.

From a bottle. Pours medium amber with short lived head. Floral and toffee aroma. Grassy, bitter flavor. A nice ipa.

Bottle at home - May’12. Pours a slightly murky gold with a half finger of white head. Floral and fruity hops on the nose, a little sweet malt and a puff of herbs. Hops up front in the taste but well balanced with caramel malts. Tropical fruits can be detected, mango and orange. Medium bodied with a light/medium carbonation with a bitter finish. Better on cask (for which I hold no review) but a good all round DIPA.

Bottle. Pours clear light amber-gold with with a large creamy off-white head that laces well when it finally dissipates. Aroma is strong hops, with grapefruit and pine in the foreground. Flavor is medium sweet with malt and honey forward transitioning to grapefruit and grass with a medium bitter, slightly sweet, finish.

Herb-hopfiger Beginn mit zunehmender Trockenheit. Deutlich bitter ab dem Mittelteil, im Abgang steigert sich dies nochmal. Ebenfalls recht malzig, etwas klebrig und dickflüssig wirkend. Herber, sandig, 8/9/9/9/11/9

Bottle @ Bierzwerg.de. Pours clear dark golden with a white head on top. Very malty with lots of bitter grapefruit and pine. Crisp , smooth and dry. Good stuff.
