Welcome back our boldly hoppy pal. Legendary Cascade hops mix-it-up with assertive Simcoe for a powerful, citrusy and earthy foundation that is galvanized with a big punch of fruity Citra. This IPA packs a hoppy wallop!

12 oz bottle. Aroma is citrus rind. Pours hazy orange with a giant long-retaining off-white head leaving decorative lace. Taste starts out lightly sweet and finishes bitter. Doughy flavor. Crisp and refreshing. Full body with medium carbonation. Nice DIPA. A really good beer, or does it seem better than it really is because of all the crappy beer I’ve been drinking lately? I don’t know, but it tastes divine next to the international beers I’ve been rating lately.

Bottle: Golden, lively carbonation, hazy , fluffy to creamy off-white head,, distinctive citrussy and piney hoppy nose, balanced by sweet pale malt; solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, soft MF; lingering bitter-sweet finish with tart-piney hops sticking to the palate. Great american brew…

(bottle, 35.5cl) Cloudy, golden colour with a big and blond foamy head. Bready malty aroma with fruity and slightly piney hops, including notes of grapefruits, pine needles and a tinge of vanilla. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Bready (cara-)malt character with fruity and slightly piney hops on a dry mouthfeel; mildly bitter and slightly sweet finish with an aromatic hops character. Well-rounded and very pleasant. 22.I.12

A yellow beer with a medium and blond head. Strong, tropical fruity aroma flows out of the glass, peaches and lots of fructose sweetness, some pine forest. Taste is also tropical fruity, lot of bitterness and thus, taste dries, piney/grassy bitterness and dry, long aftertaste. Full- bodied, slippery, slightly sticky to drink, that fitts nicely in this beer. Good and rich beer, however, maybe too heavy and overeated.

Bottle @ home. Pours a huge, pearl white head and a golden appearance. Cotton candy, earthy, grapefruit citrusy, sweet malty aroma. Fairly potent grapefruit citrusy, a touch resiny, earthy hoppy flavor with a moderately bitter, citrusy finish. Pretty tasty.

Bottle , thanks zvikar, smallish head, clear lightish orange colour, aroma of biscuit, tobbaco, and herbal hops, candy biscuity sweetness and maybe a hint of dried fruits, with a grapefruity bitterness. Nice but a bit unbalanced.

On tap at Taco Mac. Pours dark yellow with a minimal head. The aroma is bread, resin and pine. The flavor is fairly well balanced malty sweetness and hop bitterness. The palate is medium, a little astringent, and smooth. Overall, this is a lackluster IIPA. Not enough flavor or complexity.
