Hoponius Union harmoniously combines lager yeast fermentation and West Coast IPA hops. Our India style Pale Lager is like a traditional IPA but with a twist – it’s fermented cold and aged for extended periods. A blend of classic American hops creates a huge tropical fruit and citrusy hop aroma. A dry finish accentuates the pleasant bitterness and hop profile.

Pours amber with a frothy white head and decent carbonation. Aroma of aroma of pine and hops. Taste has pine, kettled hops. Palate has dry malt, citra hops. Meh.

Smells like an IPA hop forward with floral and citrus notes. Malty lagery taste. This is a lager. Malty finish

Draft. Hazy deep gold with a frothy white head. Aroma of toasted grain with strong floral notes. Also grapefruit and light resin and light straw. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/sticky texture, lively carbonation. Interesting taste: Light earthiness, floral hops, some alcohol.

Pours a clear golden yellow, with mid-sized, lasting, fluffy head. Aroma is grassy, with hints of citrus. Flavor is quite grassy, with some citrus, breadiness, and more than a little licorice? Some pine/spruce hops in there, too.
