Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Caramel, chocolate and a hint of licorice in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with soft caramelly and roasty notes. Pear drups. Maybe a bit thin, but tasty enough.

Bottled, thanks MrHangover! Hazy ruby, small head. Caramelly nose with some molasses. Sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramelly with some herbal spices and some molasses stickyness. Lw bitterness.

Bottle. Massive gusher, now my whole floor is fucking sticky, thanks. Black with light brown head. Weird herbal taste with some sweet malts and coffee. Dried fruits, raisins, light chocolate and ricola candies. Actually not that bad, but tastes nothing like Haagse Hopjes.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is yeast, light malt. The flavour is medium bitter, light sweet with a malt, molasses, red berry fruit, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle, gushed a little. Tastes like a sweet Belgian brown beer, with indeed some notes of haagsche hopjes. (Coffee and karamel) bit thin though, but not bad.
