Bottle from Voldby. Black with a small brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, dark sugar, cinnamon, wood and bourbon. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. Oily and soft. Too much cinnamon. 020219

Keg at The Farmer's Boy, St Albans, Herts. A black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Sweet, roasty, malty, chocolate, cinnamon aroma. Tastes quite sweet and rich, roasty, malty, chocolate, cinnamon, caramel. Excellent Imperial Stout from Against the Grain.

Draft. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, marshmellows, and dark chocolate. The flavor is very sweet with notes of chocolate, roasted malt, and caramel, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

Keg at the farmers boy St Albans. An oily black coloured pour with a lasting halo of dark tan head. Aroma is nice sweet brown sugars, cinnamon bun, cedar, low bbq banana,. Flavour is composed of medium sweet. Full and sweet, brown sugars, cinnamon bun, brandy snap sugars, some marshmallow. Palate is medium sweet,. Lingering tangy apple pie.

From backlog. 650ml bottle @ Bottle Shop Bermondsey. Smooth, roasty and vinous with some complex woody and oaky notes, bourbon, vanilla and syrup. Pretty good and heavy.
