Refrigerated 75 cl brown bottle from shrubber85 poured into a snifter. Black with medium light brown head. Aroma is rich chocolate, medium/thick body, medium carbonation, and pretty good lacing. Taste is wood, bourbon, cinnamon, and chocolate.

On tap at GABF. Pours black with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is wood, spice, smoke, roast, bourbon. Slick body, roasted malt, smoke, wood, spice, dry, boozy finish, very good.

Cinnamon, candi sugar, bourbon, chocolate malt, and hay aroma. Black with nice brown head. Moderately sweet cinnamon, bourbon, chocolate malt, and moderately bitter dry hay, wood and light black pepper flavor. Great body and balance. A great beer. (#400 from the brewery).

Bottle 750ml. @ [ Assentoft Tasting by Hansen & Zita ]. [ As Against the Grain 70K - Amburana Wood ]. ABV: 13.0%. Clear dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, chocolate, vanilla, alcohol - bourbon, tonka. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, tonka, chocolate, bourbon - alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20190914] 8-4-9-4-17

Frothy lightbrown good mostly diminishing head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Vanilla notes. Bourbon? Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Vanilla notes. Creamy palate.

Bottle shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Thanks Hunter! Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of brown head that lingers. Coffee and brownie aromas with a floral and woody beachwood aroma that is pretty prominent. Smooth on the palate with more of the amburana working well alongside the cacao nib, chocolate milk, coffee and vanilla flavors. Smooth vanilla and floral wood on the finish with endless chocolate notes. ABV is hidden well. Keg at CloudWater and friend 2019 day 2... Amber. Nthin white lacing.. Soft sweet caramel woody.. Fruits.. Odd woody herbal sweet honey fruits nose.. Light sweet berries tonka.. Soft boozy fruit.. Light vanilla

Never had the base 70K, but I had another Amburana BA beer and now I know it just means shitload of coconut. Sweet, chocolatey and smooth. Lovely creamy and rich, hint of bourbon. Slow sipping warming chocolate milk stuff.

Aroma: Roasted sweet malt with wood, coconut and spices. Flavour: Very sweet with spices and wood. Coconut notes and brown sugar. Aftertaste is malty and sugary sweet. And mouthfeel is creamy and alcoholic warm. Colour: Black with a fading head.
