Off at the crack of the bat, spikes dug in, exploding with speed – Hustle breaks the game wide open. This India Pale Ale takes a hard, hoppy cut at a soft, fluffy hanging curve, driving notes of peach, tangerine and citrus back, back, back...gone.

OK, so its always been the story to fascinate you even if the beer is ubiquitous. That is what we have here, I bet. Perforating floral nose. Penetrating taste bud bitter bite. Yes, another batch of another ubiquitous beer styles. Put all IPA in one bunch and be done with it. I think it has more entries than sake. Big foaming clear IPA bastard bitter taste.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 3/22/2019. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy deep golden amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, woody, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 6%. Overall this is a delicious IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and pretty refreshing to drink with the moderately bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Great Amarillo, Mosaic, Idaho 7 profile. Very juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; with a nice clean pale/wheat malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on west coast style example.

Can shared at CB. Pours a clear orange copper with a finger of foam that lingers. Overripe orange and caramel aromas with some pine as it warms. More pine and caramel on the palate as well with orange, tangerine and honey flavors. Dry, well-attenuated finish with dried honey orange finish and light pine and peppercorn.
