Pounder can from Grocery Outlet. Clear yellow/golden with nice tight, fluffy head. Aroma is grains, corn, some cooked vegetables. Taste is more grainy, kind of clean, not overly sweet. Better than expected. Hits the spot after some heavier beers. I could drink this as a lawnmower beer.

Pounder: Corny hay nose. Clear yellow, thick head, nice lacing. Hay, very clean, lightly sweet. Fusel alcohol and chlorine on the back end. Not horrible at first, but a rather offensive aftertaste. Light body, easy carbonation.

Can at Tempest - San Francisco. Pours clear yellow with a small, white foam heading. The nose holds cereal, pale bread, light hay. Moderately sweet, with more cereal, minimal bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish with more cereal, dry pale bread. Simple stuff, but a nice and drinkable pale lager.

12 ounce can at a local dive bar, 9/2/16. Clear very pale golden, large foamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of grain, grass, mild corn. The taste is grassy hops, corn. Thin.

Can shared, drank straight from the can which looked decent. Light grains, corn and cardboard, soft herbs, light grass and metal. Under medium sweet and light bitter. Over light bodied with quite some carbonation.

Can at Tempest, SF ... or possibly in the street outside 28/01/16. Clear golden with a moderate off white cap. Nose is pale malt, grain, cereal, straw, lemon rind. Taste comprises much the same, cereal, grain, light metallic buzz, faint citric notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Average.

12 ounce can. I know this will not be good, but I just had to taste it to revisit my youth. Bright yellow gold color. Large rocky white head disappates quickly. Grainy metallic nose. Flavor is light grainy malt with sweet corn notes. Pale and insipid. Light in body and short in taste. Still a real quaffing beer for the summer.

16 ounce can because that’s how I roll. Drank out of the can. You know, it’s a golden hue, medium fizzy white head. A light metallic nose, probably due to me smelling the can. Sweet honey malts. Sugary sweet flavor, biscuit, dirty honey. Yeah, it’s a pale lager. Nothing offensive, I could drink a few. However, it would hurt.
