Das Bier riecht SO dermaßen nach Schokolade, das muss Chemie pur sein! Dies wird im Antrunk bereits bestätigt, nach und nach wird das Getränk unglaublich chemisch, lediglich der feine schokoladige Nachgeschmack, natürlich chemisch, wirkt einigermaßen lecker. Nach dem Double Chocolate Stout von Young’s ist dies das andere Ende des machbaren, definitiv. Viel zu süß, viel zu künstlich, bitte verschont mich mit so einem Zeug. Bottle: Muddy orange brown with small beige head. Aroma is very powerful sweet chocolate. Quite high carbonated. Some spritzyness. Taste starts fruity (cherry) then transforms into a sweet chocolate.

33 cl bottle at Delirium Cafe in Gothenburg, Sweden.Lovely amber color, big beige creamy head. Smells like oranges and choclate mix.Very much chocloate in the flavor and aftertaste. Fruity and acid taste.Nice dessert!Low bitterness.

(Bottle 33 cl) On my bottle the alc vol is 4,2% ABV. Dark red-brown, but pretty clear. Weak, creamy head. Sweet "plum-in-Madeira"- aroma. The sweet sensation continues in the flavour, which is like marzipan with a hint of cherry-liquor. Very unusual; More unusual than actually good. Actually doesn’t taste that much like chocolate, but there might be a hint of cocoa. 080103

Hazy orange - amber; just red-amber tinted creamy, slightly irregular head. Nose of cheap pralines fourrées, Belgian chocolates filled with running or soft stuff, partly based on chocolat, sugar, copra, cocosbutter,... and also of chocolate with orange langues de chat which I abhorr. Terrible mix of chocolate (thank God it isn’t white chocolate anymore), fake strawberry filling, orange marmalade and sweetener. With a break into a raw faint-bitter (dry) chocolate finish. Partly sticky, partly light, nearly watery MF. The first time I had this, it was white chocolat heated into some kind of beer. Had I been rating then, it would have received negative marks somehow. Since then, Huyghe seem to have discovered powdered cacao, praise the Lord. Which still makes it an awful concoction.

Slightly hazy amber coloured body with a very thin off-white head. I expected this one to be pitch black, so it is a bit deceiving. Aroma of an unwrapped tootsie roll. Simply stated, this one smells so strong of milk chocolate candy, you cannot discern any other tastes. It smells so sweet I don’t even really want to have a sip. Medium-bodied; Insanely sweet taste that matches the aroma exactly. The sweetness lasts throughout the length of the beer and shows no sign of malt, hops or yeast--just CHOCOLATE! A very crazy beer and one I could drink a LOT less than Cave Creek. This one is pretty bad, but I think it’s only because its way too sweet. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased at Chevy Chase Wine & Liquors in Washington, D.C. on 26-November-2004 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

Nice copper color. Unbelievable aroma: cheap chocolate, oranges, vanilla. Similar taste; sweet.

A hazy amber beer with a fine head. The aroma is of orange flavored chocolate - not really what I consider a beer aroma. The flavor is horrible and it kind of burns the mouth with notes of youghurt, wheat, chocolate, and oranges - a really really bad flavor. And to make it worse, it has no body. The only positive thing about this beer is the appearance, without which it would be the worst beer ever for me - now it is the second worst. Don’t try it - not even for the rating.
