33 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown to orange and with a fully diminished bubbly head. Aroma is dry chocolate powder. Light sweet initial flavour with a dusty chocolate note. Goes even more artificial later. Holds a continued artificial chocolat malt into the finish. Strange.

Bottle. Pours hazy amber with a off white head. Sweet synthetic & cheap chocolate powder. Weird. Sweet & sour. Nutty & just wrong!

Things have changed. The label no longer says Gardenbeer, and the alcohol is at 4.2%. Pours an amber color with a smear of white head. Smells like chocolate. Chocolate liquer. Like it should be poured over ice cream. Flavor is chocolate. Could be a wit under all that flavor. I could finish it. I wonβt.

Chocolate is very dominant in aroma, and also a bit in the flavour. Very sweet, very undrinkable.

A dirty hazy pale brown with a thin white head. Aroma of cherry blossoms and quick milk chocolate. In mouth, a lightly sourish wit with sweet cherry chocolate, powdery, not bad, but like drinking chocolate powder mixed in with lemon flavoured mineral water. Bieropholie import 2006. BB March 2008.

Bottled (as Floris Chocolat 4.2%). Colour is amber. Aroma is big time rum-raisin and chocolate, with some sweet cherryish hints. Flavour is malts, some rum-raisiny notes which are quite "nonsaying" though. Some very cocoalike flavours. Artificial feeling all the way through, but still, I could drink more of this .)

Bottled as Floris Chocolat, alc. 4.2% (BB 02/2009)
Classic! Now in the glass! Copper brown color, very small white head. Rum-raisin-nougat chocolate aroma, very intensive. Foamy mouthfeel ... ok then .. sweet cloying artifical flavor of chocolate and rum, very perfumic - if flavor can be "perfumic". Strange artifical beer, canβt trace witbier here. This one sample is enough.

Bottle: Poured brown with a bubbly white head. The aroma was orange and chocolate. The taste was a bit weird, at first it tasted like chocolate, but it had that orange sherbert finish.
