On tap at First Draft. Pours an unclear, pale, golden color, with a small, white head. The nose is aggressive resinous hops, caramel, pine, and wet grass. A little sweet, with an assertive bitterness. Medium body, with a syrupy, sticky palate. This is a bold, but not terribly pleasantly bitter IPA. Pretty nice.

Bottle from Craft Brewed. Pours a clearish gold with a full 2 fingers of foam that lingers. Big floral and peppery hop aromas with citrus, toasted caramel and pine. Some apricot, durian and more citrus as it warms. Crisp and clean on the palate with more of the same flavors that were on the nose. Lingering peppery hops with some light herbal notes as it moves towards the finish. Lingering orange zest, toasted caramel and pine. --- Beer merged from original tick of Beer Lunch on 23 Jul 2019 at 12:43 - Score: 8. Original review text: Finally had this semi whale and it definitely lived up to the hype. Great IPA that is insanely drinkable.

The Aromas are mild old Hops and dry grain. Flavors are like nose, fairly dry, mild bitterness along with some herbal qualities. Slightly soft body with good carbonation and okay finish. Nothing really stands out here.

A murky dark amber ipa with a thin big bubbled light mocha head. In aroma, nice caramel malt with loads of resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light oxidation, pleasant and smooth. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with loads of resinous floral hops, pine needles, light bready notes, alcohol warmth, very nice and rich. Bottle about two years old.
