Pours a dark amber from a bottle. Somewhat fruity aroma a little pine. Flavor is a big hit of tropical fruit and more pine, finishes with a nice hit of bitterness. Very well-balanced. Very good beer.

Well, okay then. The buzz is deserved. Nice job, Maine Beer. Pretty much what I wish all these newfangled hazed IPAs would be: a fruity, bright IPA that drinks like a dream and doesn't turn into hop-free nothingness on the back end. Lunch packs a massive wallop of mango, pineapple, grapefruit, and dank, with a mild cracker malt base and a sticky, angry hop bitterness that screams IPA goodness. Perhaps the best mix of old and new I've come across, one that accepts tastes in hoppy beers have changed while placating grumpy traditionalists like myself. Fruity and bitter. Pure IPA joy. Amazing. Simply amazing.

Pour is a bright orange with a large white head. Aroma is a fruity hop with some red berry and some pine. Flavor is more of a grapefruit and pine like an old school IPA. A adequate hit of bitterness follows the swallow. This was a solid IPA. The aroma is like a new style IPA with the fruitiness while the flavor is like a west coast pine and grapefruit bomb.

Draft. A- Pineapple, pine, grassy. A- Gold color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Pine, bitter, pineapple, creamy, citrus. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- Had this on tap and could've grabbed a bottle and didn't. Regret that decision, because I think the tap was at the end of the keg and didn't show it's true glory. That said, with a grain of salt, not as good as Dinner by a long shot. A bit creamy as if it was almost a cask. Lots of pine and bitterness and not very juicy. Solid IPA but not quite for me.

Draft. Hazy golden body with a frothy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, toasted grain, hint of orange, citrus, floral hops. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Basic IPA considering the explosion of experimental IPAs in the couple of years. Solid and well balanced.
