3 Fonteinen (Oude) Kriekenlambik is the result of macerating hand-picked whole sour cherries on young lambic for at least four months, in a proportion of one kilogram of fruit per litre of lambic (and possibly blended with some more young lambic). Fruit intensity ranges from minimum 35% to 50%. Aside some selected bars (e.g. 20th Anniversary of Akkurat in Stockholm, Sweden), this sour cherry lambic is available at given times in the lambik-O-droom.

Big thank you to kappldav123 for this 0,375 l bottle. Seizoen 16/17, bottled 24.05.2017. BB 26.10.37. Listed with 5,4% abv. Cloudy dark red in the glass. Intensive tart fruity aroma, a lot of cherry, smooth. Taste has also a lot of cherry, malt present in the background. Some barrel wood. Nice one!

Draft at the cellar at Duckworth. Deep red pour looks like wine. Nose is cherry and currants. Tastes of cherry, black currrqnt. BlackBerry, some yeasty funk, and wooden barrel. Light acidic.

Draft, on tap at The Sovereign. as "3 Fonteinen Oude Kriekenlambik (kegged 22/05/2024)" Poured a rich crimson hue with slight lacing. Flavor was sharp cherries, with a light woody oak and tart, very light acidic funk. A nicely dry, fruited lambic.

Draught @ Mig & Ølsnedkeren. Pours hazy red with a small white head. Aroma of light sourness, light malt, yeast, loads of red fruit, redcurrant, cherries. Flavor is light sour, light malt, yeast, funk, red fruit / berries, cherries, light wood. Thin to medium body, soft to average carbonation, dry and light acidic finish. 220225
