Ardenne's Craft Beer, lightly dark, with beautiful shiny reflects. Differents from the classic dark ales, because of its mild character, and the small touch of citrus at the end.

Bottle, small long lasting creamy head, opaue very dark brown to black color, aroma of cola roasted grains and metal, flavor of chocolate, grains, light roasted notes, plums, cola and a hint of sourdough bread, strong slightly fizzy carbonation, light and a bit coarse bitterness. Drinkable but not too exciting.

BOTTLE 75 CL. Hazy red-brown, tart fruity aroma, not much malts or dark fruit, a tad boozy. The taste is similar, quite dry, bit does not have the fruitiness from pales, nor maltiness of darks.

Bottle sample at the "Farewell to Vova Shack" tasting at Stas’s place. Thanks Vova. Dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel, dark fruits, spiciness, licorice, alcohol. Sweet flavor with caramel, dark fruits, spiciness, a bit of licorice, alcohol, and a bitterish hint. Medium-bodied.

Jun. ’16. A 0.75 l bottle at 8.5% ABV. It poured a very hazy brown body with a big beige head. Caramel and yeast aroma. Maybe also a note of wooden barrel. Flavor was lightly to moderately sweet, malty with caramel and dark fruits. Yeasty with only a touch of some spices typical for these styles. Full bodied, cloying, with long sweetish finish that also showed some herbal hop bitterness. Alcohol was well hidden and only lightly warming. Quite a decent Belgian strong.

Bottled 750ml. -from Vrutak Zagreb. Brown coloured, small to medium sized beige head, mild yeasty nose. Sweet malty, caramel, hops, notes of spices, yeast and fruits with touch of alcohol in the finish. Not bad but nothing thrilling here. 8.5%ABV

Bottle 0.75l, shared with CanCrusher. Hazy dark brown color with thick creamy light brown head and nice lacing. Aroma of caramel, roasted malt, honey and yeast. Taste starts with moderate sweet caramel and roasted malt, following is a bit alcoholic and slightly medicinal with herbal and fruity touch, mouthfeel is warming, while finish is mild to moderate bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and lively carbonation in palate. Not too offending and easily drinkable...

750 from Yamaya. Medium brown, medium head. Nice nose of chocolate, raisins, Belgian yeast. Flavorful with balanced sweetness and a decent dose of grassy, earthy hops. Touch of citrus. Well done and rather hoppy for a dark.
