Ins Glas ergießt sich ein sehr dunkelbraunes Beir mit schöner beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, Roggen, dunkle Früchte. Geschmack schokoladig röstmalzig, Roggenmalz, Kaffee, dunkle reife Früchte.

Rund malziger Antrunk, intensiv mit leichter Süße und gänzlich ohne Alkoholnoten. Schokoladig, getreidig, zum Ende passend aber intensiv trocken. Mir zu dumpf, sonst gut! 11/12/11/11//11

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, nr Gent, Belgium. Consumed at hone Sunday 16th February 2014 Pours almost black on colour with a slim tan coloured head. Nice nose with some chocolate, roastiness and cocoa showing. Milk chocolate in mouth with some sticky chocolate fudge cake, quite indulgent. Its a bit creamy with some hoppy bitterness shing out from behind the chocolatey veil. A good beer. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Bouteille 50cl de Geers, BB 07/01/2017. Brune foncée, col moka moyen doré au verre. Arôme est malté caramel, chocolaté épais comme effluves. Pointe amer houblonnée avec une belle présence du seigle. En rétro-nasal, je note de belles pointes citronnées - agrumes. Palais est épais avec ici aussi pas mal de malts; chocolat caramel, fini terreux et ce profil distinct de seigle. Épaisseur rappelant la mélasse, grillé et café avec un fini légèrement amer et houblonné. Palais est généreux avec un côté sirop. Au final, une bière sympa mais qui manque de l’influence Terrapin surtout si on se base sur la Terrapin Rye Pale ale.

Bottle at Mr Hangover’s 2014 Nieuwjaarsborrel, Den Haag and supplied by the Bier Koning, Amsterdam. Poured a deep mahogany with a round bubbly tan head. The aroma is light roasted malt and liqourice. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a rich smooth malt liqourice slightly alcoholic light hop palate. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. A super beer from Nogne. I would not expect anything less.

Bottle shared at Nieuwjaarsborrel thanks to Jmgreenuk. Pours near black with a small beige head. Aroma of caramel, rye, malt, overripe dark fruits. Flavor is over moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

50cl bottle, #761, brewed on 10.12.12. Pitch black, thin brown head. Aroma is overwhelming with licorice, wood, light smokey notes and rye quite strongly later on. Very smooth, oily mouthfeel. Flavor has chocolate, coffee, rye, licorice, hops. Espresso-like strong coffee in the dry, bitter finish. At the same time it feels velvety smoothin the mouth. Full bodied superb beer.

Sort med lys brunt skum. Mørk sjokolade, salt lakris, moden stenfrukt- plomme til sviskelukt. Søt, fyldig litt salt smak. Lite kullsyre, behagelig fyldig medium lang ettersmak.

Svart farge med beige skum. Aroma av plomme, røk og kaffe kommer fram her. Fyldig og smaker godt sødme, malt. Lang ettersmak. Meget god:-)
