Pours hazy amber with a small white head. Aromas of tart green apples, slight vinegar and some yeast. Taste is very sour up front, green apples and more vinegar. Slightly yeasty. Great balanced textbook gueuze!

Tap at Orti Giuli di Pinta, in Pesaro, Italy. Pours blonde with abundant white foam, very fine. Aroma is barn, underarm, smelly feet. Body is fairly dense with average carbonation. A bit of astringency. Taste is medium-high sour. Final is short and clean.

Bottle, 2017-2018, 7.0%. Color: Hazy orangish golden, thin white head. Aroma: Tart, fruity, funky, some vinegar. Taste: Moderate to medium tart, moderate bitter and light to moderate sweet, strong fruity notes of grapes, lemon, orange peel and some grapefruit and green apple. Clearly present yet subtle Farmyard funk. More funk in the aroma than in the taste. Wood, tannins. Dry mouthfeel. Some tiny hints of vinegar. After standing some time, the funky part gets a bit stronger, at the expense of the fruity flavours. Medium body, below average carbonation. Well balanced, nice complexity. Not that sour, compared to some other Gueuzes, as far as I remember. Nice.
