My first Tilquin! Stoked. This is intense, very acidic. It's bizarre to think about how this stuff comes about. Such a singular taste.

Pours a ruddy amber from a bottle. Big brett aroma, funky and tart lemon juice. Similar flavor. Very good beer.

corked bottle. Pours a dark yellow color with a small white head that soon recedes to a ring around the glass and a fine film on the top. The aroma is a bit perfumy with some lavender, lemons, roses, brett and thyme. The taste is complex with sour citrus, herbs, oakiness and touch of garbage pail. The palate is full and viscous. Finishes long with lingering sour oak. Overall--Decent

New year of Gueuze :) - trying this one week after the 10year vertical at the Gueuzerie. Young, the yeast is still a little „disturbed“. Green apple vibes, minimal lemon. Some wood. Present bitterness.

Yesterday. Fantastic finisher after the 10year Gueuze vertical. The first ever bottled Tilquin gueuze. Amd this is aging phenomenal. Deep woody. Tart. Dry.
