Bottle at home, big thanks to Mes. Poured a hazy orange colour with a big pillowy off white head. Super fragrant aroma with earthy hops, juicy summer fruit and sweet candy notes. Bright, well rounded and flavour packed with similar elements to the aroma and the addition of some belgian yeast notes. Medium dry lingering bitter finish. A cracker of an IPA that has real character.

Bottle. Hazy orange-brown with a huge white head. Aroma was ok with fruit (particularly pineapple). Not as much fruit in the taste as in the aroma. Grass, malt. Pleasant bitterness. descent beer but not exceptional.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has strong notes of hops combined with medium notes of straw, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hops, straw, and grapefruit, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Huge, fine & dense yellow head, slowly collapsing over foxy orange-golden beer, veiled. End of bottle solid yeast. Very fruity hopsnose with mango, passionfruit, citrus, lytchee and straw. Very bitter hopflavour, again fruity but also with streaks of grass, straw and quinine. Longlasting, rather raw bitterness, only partly relieved by the fruitiness. Very creamy head in texture, beer is pretty viscous and well-bodied. Bit rough in bitterness - I’ve had plenty beers with way more EBU’s, that were mellow in comparison.

Bottle: Poured a deep hazy blonde/beige color ale with a quite large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of floral and green hops with solid malt backbone is quite interesting. Taste is also a nice mix between some floral and green hops with light fruity ester and solid malt backbone that doesn’t take away too much from the hops profile. Body is full with limited filtration and good carbonation. Very well brewed and something I could drink on a regular basis.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a hazy amber with a frothy and lively off-white head leaving some lacework. Fresh, peachy hop aroma. Medium body, nice sweet fruitiness, a metallic touch and great peachy hops that leave a solid hop bite. 171110

Draught @ Borefts Bier Festival 2010, Brouwerij de Molen, Overtocht 43, Bodegraven, Netherlands.Unclear medium orange color with a large, creamy to frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to light heavy hoppy, citrus - orange, grapefruit, lime. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. IMO, off the day for me the best Vuur & Vlam beer ;O) [20100924]

[9/24/10] Draught at Borefts Beer Festival 2010. Cloudy orange with a big white head. Hoppy aroma of grapefruit, pomelo and some tropical fruits. Flavor starts sweetish with some malt but is mostly full of grapefruity hops bitterness. Medium-bodied. Pretty nice.
