Bottle at a private tasting in Belgrade/Serbia. It pours a vivid amber colour, hazy with a minimal off white head. Nose with almost no hops, Belgian dubbel feel. Mouth has tons of leather, some sour and tart notes.

Struise’s reply to De Molen’s Vuur & Vlam, a double IPA. Thick, sticky, yellowish white, creamy head, colour a deep coppery amber, hazy. Very powerful hop aroma, lemon peel, tonic water, walnuts, hemp, grapefruit, caramel, sage... Orange freshness in the onset, fruity with sweetish caramel base but overpowered by a very strong, mouth-cleansing, complex hop bitterness, citrussy, herbal, tonic water-like, long and dry accompanied by agreeable warming alcohol. An excellent IPA and a must taste if you like this style.

Trübes dunkeloranges Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, fruchtig, herb, tropische Früchte, bitter, genauso ist auch der Geschmack.
