Coolship Lager is brewed using a traditional double decoction mash and hopped with fine European noble hops. After the boil it rests in our copper coolship for 1 hour. It is then transferred over our baudelot cooler into our open tanks for fermentation. After a cool fermentation using a classic Czech lager yeast it is cellared for several months prior to release.

$3.65 pint can, WW. Gold, hint of haze, tiny white head. Green grasses, light floral notes in the nose. Flower petals, green grasses, urinal cake, bread crust flavor. Nice.

16 oz. can in a trade with tfontana, thanks Tom the opportunity. Hazy golden color. Aroma: herbal, sweet honey bread maltiness. Flavor: grassy/ herbal undertone with balanced flavor. Subtle grassy bitterness. Crisp texture. No funky notes. Cool Ship? Still a quality Czech pils.

16 oz can from Brewers Haven. Clear golden body with a lasting tight head. Aroma is grainy, bready. Taste follows with robust malty, grainy flavors. Fairly thick body too. Really tasty.

Draught at The Well: pours gold with a white head. Aroma is bready, grassy, lemony. Taste is bread, grain, some light fruitiness. Solid. Not very coolship, in what we are used to. So it goes.

On tap at the Well. Pours clear gold brown. Peach, orange, sulfur, little cereal. Medium body. Well balanced. Excellent.

Hazy and a bit of a dull gold, nice noble hops, fairly bitter, hops are okay but I’m looking for a bit more brightness.

Draught @ Ginger Man (9/13/19). Clear golden with small foamy white head ,very faint grassy hops aroma, high carbonation, mildly sweet malty taste with light grassy hops, thin body, abrupt semi-dry finish. Nice brew.

Tap at Redlight start off Zwanze day. Gold pour rather clear with frothy white head. Nose is light funk and lemony. Tastes of lemon, lactic acid, some cheesy, honey and yeast. Tart and puckering.
