The term Pale Ale characterizes a lighter type of ale brewed in lighter malts. A beer with a distinctive hops fruity notes and a marked bitterness. The name is derived from a Bulldog named Krut. With over 40 pounds of muscle, Krut deserved respect. he was a true joy spreader just like this beer.

Draugt @ Black Sheep Arms, Gotland. Dark orange, lots of bubbles. Malty. Little hops. Medium bodied. Easy to drink. Really fresh flowery taste. Kind of british.

(Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm) Reddish amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, toffee and orange peel. Fruity, malty taste with orange peel, pine needles, solid caramel/crystal malt foundation with a generous citrussy hop bitterness in the finish. Medium body, balanced sweetness. Lovely balance and lots of taste for this fairly low abv pale ale. By far the best from this brewer.

Draught@Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Nut brown colour with rubyish hints, not much head. Aroma is fruity and berryish along with some grass and caramel malts. Flavour is hops, grass and some mild notes of yeast. Also a bit spicy. Wellbalanced and a pleasant surprise from Wisby.

Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear pale nut brown, no head. Gooseberry aroma. Light-medium bodied with clean crystallic malt profile. Fair amounts of hops - gooseberry and lychee brings life into an otherwise sterile and slightly edgy beer. Finishes with medium bitterness.
