Bottle @ Cnudde Tasting.. Clear medium to light dark red brown color with a large, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, coffee, moderate smoke. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (290308)

50 cL bottle@fonefan/Brugmansia’s Cnudde tasting. Pours almost clear and dark amber with with lacing tan head. Dry roasted and mild smoked aroma. Flavour dry smoked and woody. Not much else, but a light coffee note. Slight meady note in the finish. Ends dry and with a slowly fading smoke note.

Small brown head does not last. Deep dark red barely translucent body. Thi meaty smoky chocolatey aroma, very harmonic and balanced. Quite strong, too. Dry smoky roasty chocolatey taste. Thin, clean, sharpish mouthfeel. Dry chocolatey grainy aftertaste with notes of smoke. Very nice! Balanced, powerful, and subtle. (0.5l bottle from gr0ve.)

Bottle. Pours a dark reddish/brown color with a small off-white head. Smokey roasted malty aroma. Sweetish malty smokey flavor with some roasted hints. Roasted malty finish with some smoke in the aftertaste.

Red-shot, brown-black beer with dark beige, small head, leaving lace. Sumptously smoked nose, in the best Schlenkerla style. Sweet - suggesting restsugars, even rosewater aroma. Smoked ham. Sweet-smoked, tasting as a honey-cured smoked ham. Retronasal again honey-covered smoked meat with a typical smoked/sulphury streak. Medium bodied, smooth. Very nice smoked, thanks to Dirk - and Thomas.

Black color. Good mix of roasted malt and smokey flavor, medium body strength, more roasted malt in the end.
Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 2007-09-21, 7-3-7-3-14=34
Cloudy dark brown color. Nice aroma, smokey, with iron and manure. Medium thin body, with quite good caramel and smokey flavor, light chocolate malt and correct bitterness. Pleasant.
