Bottle courtesy of Deanso. Poured a clear dark brown with a think broken tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, dark chocolate, light coffee, creamy caramel. the flarour is moderate bitter with a roasty bitter, spicy, light pepper hop palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

50cl bottle from systembolaget, Borlange, Sweden. Thin creamy tan head. Smokey aroma. Clear dep amber pour. Nice smokey taste. Very smooth

Bottle 0.5l at Leijuva Lahna, Helsinki. BBE Feb/2017. Colour is black with brownish white head. Aromas and flavours: Some, some sweetness, coffee, chocolate and roasted malts. Enjoyable.

Mørk brun/svart farge med lite skum. Lukter bål, sjokolade. Medium fylde og lite kullsyre. Bra med røk i ettersmak, og også litt sødme.

Mørk brun litt uklar med beige skum. Røkt kjøtt, halm, mørk sjokolade. Smaker røkt, lite bitter. Kort ettersmak, lite kullsyre.

Bottle. Smoky milk chocolate and soy sauce aroma. Dark brown with a small creamy tan head. Roasty coffee, chocolate, ashy-smoky malt flavor. Body on the light side, moderate carbonation. Nice level of smokiness.

Jet black colour, tan head. Aroma of red fruit, caramel, ash, coffee and soy sauce. Sweet flavour, malts, caramel, ash and bitter coffee. BItter finish, hops, roasted malts, lingering coffee. Nice.

Courtesy of KyotoLefty. 50 cl. bottle sampled @ decadent symmetry tasting. Pours blackish, dark brown with almost no head. Nose is very German, DE malts, bit doppelbock style, lots of smoke, smoked malts, soy sauce, touch sweetness. Taste is some bitter herbs & slight bitter bark, molasses malts, bitter herbs, soy sauce, smoke, black bread, touch campfire. Fuller malt body. Feels very true to traditional, well executed, a bit too much outside of my personal preferences for me.
