Keg at the brewery. Clear golden, large creamy white head, good retention. Aroma of toffee, marmalade, pale malt. Taste is melon, pine, grapefruit, mango, lemon, pale malt. Medium bodied, moderate lingering bitterness.

Canned 9/27/16, drunk 10/6 and 10/10/16.
Good clarity throughout this dull copper-bronze body. White head atop is medium-sized and well-retained.
Aggressive pine and grapefruit are somewhat mitigated by fruity peach-nectarine. Tropical fruits try to surface but keep getting beaten back by the pine. Some messy alcohol and light specialty malts adding caramel and bread seem out-of-place. Estery and hot despite being two weeks old. Some vegetal, green character is interesting but this thing is all over the place.
Even worse in the mouth with a vapid, hard texture with no malt depth and very little softness. Moderate carbonation can do nothing to dispel the overly aggressive grapefruit and pine. Hot, boozy alcohol and messy esters with intense canteloupe and lots of grassy, stewed hop bitterness. Tried another can a few days later to the same result. Yikes.
