Aass Bayer is a hazel colored beer with a sweet and roasted aroma of grain and malt. The beer has a rich taste with a moderate sweetness and balanced bitterness. This beer is brewed according to the German purity law. Bayer is a Norwegian beer style comparable to a German "Dunkel".

Beautiful ruby colour. Rich head, good lacing; looks great! Malty aroma. Wellbalanced roastiness. Very drinkable.

A quite acceptable Norwegian Bayer, but not as rich flavour as I expected. Rerate: This beer grows on you - the bitterness and burnt tastenotes makes this beer probably one of the best all-year Norwegian beers for the grocery store market (ABV < 4.75%) there is.

Pale brown. Malty, lightly roasty. Not very complex though, but I like the house character of this brewery.
