the nose features mild coffee, cream, chocolate and a whiff of sawdust. This is a relatively understated and well balanced stout. The taste profile features mild coffee, mocha, cocoa and cream. It has a nice clean finish.

Bottled. Poured dark with a moderate yet disappearing head. Taste was strong coffee and chocolate, but taste was surprisingly light, not overly sweet or rich, and ABV way camouflaged. A fantastic coffee stout.

0.33 l bottle at home. Pours jet black with huge, long lasting beige head. Nose is big, bold coffee with cocoa, some grains and faint fruity notes.Taste is dark chocolate, slight fruits and amazing roasted notes and coffee that merge in a wonderful and well balanced whole and then closes with long lasting coffee. Light to medium body, slight overcarbontion and creamy mouthfeel. Outstanding.

1st impression.........this looks like am impy stout. Pours jet black, and it’s THICK! Great brown head, good lacing. The aroma is intoxicating. Good god, this is amazing, i could stick my nose in here,and smell this all day! i wish i could just hang a glass of this in front of my face, and leave it there. Huge aroma of coffee, roasted malt, milk chocolate, a touch of molasses, and vanilla. THe flavour is just soooooo savoury, and chewy. So much dark roast coffee, with a touch of fruitiness. Some ripe figs, and maybe some plums, burnt chocolate also. THe finish is more coffee, and some fruity bitterness. Just outstanding!!!! I"m trying to think of something wrong iwth htis beer, some reason to not give it a 5, but i can’t! As perfect a stout as you could get.

Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, oats, tons of coffee, some smoke, hoppy notes. Flavour is light sweet with an amazingly bitter roasty finish. Smooth and extremely well-balanced. This is a great beer.

Аромат горького шоколада и свежего кофе. Также имеются четкие винные нотки. Цвет очень темный, тонкая кофейная пенка. Вкус весьма сильный для классического стаута, скорее напоминает имперский стаут. Тело тяжелое и маслянистое. Послевкусие кофейное с легкой кислинкой. В целом средний такой стаут. Почему он на первом месте среди всех стаутов для меня загадка.

Can from the LCBO (brewed in Toronto). Dark mahogany under a lingering dark khaki head that creates some stringy lace. Nose is coffee, roasted nuts, dark chocolate, light vanilla, a hint of dark fruits and some licorice. Flavour follows with a light caramel sweetness and a medium coffee and chocolate bitterness. Mouth is medium and creamy with soft carbonation. 9/4/8+/4/17-
