11.2 oz. bottle, forward to me by ChiTownPackFan (thanks a lot Will). Pours a hazy golden with a medium white head. Nose is full of brett yeast, light sugars and a subtle light fruity tartness. Flavour is extremely yeasty, almost over the top, very dry brett yeast, low sugar, and a very subtle tart character. Very dry and yeast. Extremely highly carbonated. Pretty weak and uninteresting, especially for Mikkeller.

330ml bottle. Clear orangey golden colour with small to average frothy white head. Floral brett aroma. Prickling carbonation, floral taste, brett again, a slightly metallic note, minimal fruity touch.

On tap at Mikkeller Bar, May 2012. Dark orange with a small white head. Easy to drink with citrus, wood and with a light sourness. Thirst quencher.

Bottle from Barley wine. Orange, cloudy, big white head. Tart geuzelike scent of apple vinegeur, wood and grapefruit. Not as sour in the mouth, instead bitter herbs, limezest, wood and a touch of smoke. Had expected a more refreshing sourness.

11.2 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best by 10/22/2012. Pours murky golden straw color with a good 1-2 finger foamy white head with nice retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Some decent spotty lacing on the glass, with a good amount of carbonation streaming up. Aromas of huge tart lemon, sour apple, orange zest, grass, pepper, funk, floral, and herbal spiciness. Very nice aromas with good complexity, balance, and strength. Taste of earth, floral, pepper, herbal spiciness, bready grain, and light funk; with some slight tart lemon zest and apple near the finish. Extremely dry on the finish; with a small bit of pepper, earth, floral, and citrus notes lingering for a short bit. Taste was completely different than what I expected from the nice aromas. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and slightly crisp mouthfeel. Very easy to drink as expected for 4.5%. No alcohol presence noticed at all. Overall this is actually pretty nice stuff. Not really offensive while drinking; quite enjoyable. Would have liked a lot less of a earthy and bready taste; with more balance of tart fruitiness.

33cl bottle. Pours almost clear golden with a nice white head. Lightly bretty aroma with citrus, fruits, malt and hops. Light body with light barnyard, brett and hops flavour. Lightly sweet with hints of honey. Lightly sour and bitter as well. Lives up to it’s name. Well balanced. Refreshing and easy to drink - nice session beer. Finish is quite dry and slightly sour and bitter.

Bottle approaching best before date. Hazy gold with a white head that settles to a fat coat. Aroma of oranges, earth, brett. Tastes is briefly slightly sweet with very light bread and oranges, mineral water, dry finish. No great complexity, but refreshing.

On tap at Night after Monsters. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with a small off white head leaving spotty lacing along the glass. The aroma is banana, citrus, and clove. Thin mouthfeel with a bitter tea flavor and lemon peel. A decent Belgian from Mikkeller.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 22.10.2012
Vertical with a three year old bottle of Alive!, this was better.
The aroma of sour apples meets my nose already when pouring. Also some urinal cake, raw apples and earthy notes. Flavour is somewhat tart with apples and earthy notes – a bit one-dimensional. Still rather good for a 4,5% ABV beer at the age of three years.
