Muifelbrouwerij brengt sinds 2007 bieren commercieel op de markt, maar de Brabantse brouwerij is gestart als hobbybrouwerij in het stadje Megen. In 2005 verhuisde de hobbybrouwerij naar Berghem waar honderden proefbrouwsels zijn gemaakt en waarmee de basis is gelegd voor de huidige succesvolle bieren. Een van onze oudste en minst bekende bieren is het Berghs bier. Het wordt speciaal gebrouwen voor Berghem (en is voornamelijk alleen te koop in Berghem). Het is een zacht amberkleurig speciaalbier waarbij hele lichte hoptoetsen om zachte, caramelachtige moutsmaken heen dansen. Met zijn 6,5% alcohol is het een heel zacht en toegankelijk speciaalbier.

Bottle 0,33 ltr: Cloudy amber coloured brew with an dry bitter taste with an touch of sweetness. Hints of citrus, caramel and coriander.

Bottle. Reddish amber color. Malt, cinnamon, caramel and pear in the aroma. Dusty flavor, malty with licorice, coreander and anis. Sweetish. Sticky mouthfeel.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een amberkleurig bier met een medium schuimkraag. Het heeft een gistachtige wat zoete geur. De smaak is zoetig en kruidig.

Bottled 330ml. -Unclear dark amber coloured, small off-white head, light caramel in the nose. Sweet malty, light spicy, mild fruity and yeasty with notes of caramel and touch of green apple. Slightly sugary finish. So-so.

Bottle shared at home. Clear amber with small off white head. Sweet grains, walnuts, light curry, cardboard, caramel, tea, honey. Over medium sweet and light herbal finish. Medium bodied with slick feel and quite some carbonation.

Tap @ BBF14, Oirschot. Hazy amber, small off-white head. Smells sweet, malts, wheat, banana. Tastes sweet, malty, herbs. Medium body, soft carbo.

Bottle, thanks Noize for sharing. Hazy amber colour, off-white head. Nose is malty, caramel, candied sugar, earthy. Flavour is malty, lots of caramel, light fruity, bit bready. Medium carbonation. Fairly sweet. Finish is very, almost sickly, sweet. Half-decent.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes orangegoldenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, würzig. Geschmack malzig, fruchtig, leicht würzig.

Bottle shared with deanso. Poured a cloudy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is weak malt, leading to a medium bitter, malty flavour with some liquorice on the palate and in the aftertaste. A rich, medium bodied, heart warming beer.

Clear deep red amber colour, big airy, dark cream colour head, the colour of espresso foam where it mixes with the underlying coffee. Lacing OK. Malty aroma, caramel, dough, some dried fruits, dried apricot. Sweet flavour, malts, caramel, bread, light iron. Cloying sweet. Sweet malty finish, caramel, light bitterness coming up, lingering mineral touch.
Too sweet for my liking, but it looks absolutely great!
