Vicaris Triple is a soft and accessible beer with fruity notes, highly recommended to both trained and untrained beer lovers. The mild bitterness and slightly malty tones give this beer a delicious aftertaste. The high fermentation and cold storage on the other give it a pleasant mouthfeel. Thanks to the authentic brewing method of brewery Dilewyns, this golden-coloured beer has a solid and creamy head.

750 ml corked and crowned bottle. Pours a hazy straw gold color with a massive rocky white head. Light yeasty lemony malt aroma. First sip brings an exceedingly sweet grainy malt flavor. Some yeasty citrus malt undertones. Light dryish hops in the brief finish. Lot’s of carbonation and tangy malt dominate the palate. Seems more like a cross between a triple and a Belgian Wit bier. Refreshing, but not a standout.

A common trait of the Belgian lands; this tripel. It’s sweet, mildly bitter and kind of grainy and slightly fruity. We’ve had it al before, but it’s nice.

An average tripel, nice to look at and taste, but nothing exceptional about it. Hazy golden body with creamy white head. Smells slightly sour, hoppy. Taste is light malt. Overall mouthfeel is creamy. Not too bad....

Bottle. It forms a big, off-white head over an unclear, golden body. Some lacings left. The aroma has a yeasty hint initially, feeling milky after a while. Besides that it’s on the fruity side, with a hint of peppery, grassy hops. Semi-sweet on the palate, with pale malts, oranges and a generic fruityness. Full body, soft but a bit low on carbonation. Some bitterness in the otherwise fruity finish. A decent one, nothing more. 130430

This is an odd one for a tripel. Tastes halfway between a saison and a tripel. Smells floral, a bit sour - almost some light lambic elements. Taste has lots of bitterness and some floral. Not super yeast heavy like a lot of the style. It’s different, but good. Good lacing and high carbonation. Long palate, full-bodied taste. Even has sweetness at the end. On tap at the Blue Monk.
