Gouverneur Blond is gemaakt met kristalhelder water uit eigen bron, met uitsluitend natuurlijke grondstoffen. De nagisting op fles maakt het bier een tikkeltje troebel en verrijkt het smaakaroma.

30 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small creamy white head. Aroma is grassy and toasted malty. Sweet, toasted malty and caramelish. Toasted and toffee malty. Bitter and light fruity finish.

Bottle: Golden, clear but a light haze visible, small - nevertheless persistent - creamy off-white head, orangey-fruity nose, some grainy tartness in the background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied and relatively soft; a slight alcohol-burn shows up in the sweet and bitter finish. Nothing wrong with this archetypal belgian Blond...

Clear orange golden colour, big firm white head. Malty aroma, light fruity. Pronounced yeast. Quite sweet flavour, slight bitter hops touch. Bit of marmalade. Quite silky mouthfeel, Short but medium bitter finish.

30cl Bottle: best before Apr 2013, poured into a Hoegaarden Grand Cru badged tulip @ home on 7th Nov 2012. Nice looking beer: light amber body that is clear and bright, on top a full, deep foaming head which although shrinks, does try and hang around for a while. Malty nose of sweet molasses, some yeast notes too. This is a fairly sweet Blonde and she knows it: biscuity, shortbready malts with a summer orchard of fruitiness along with the blossom. I prefer this sort of beer to the sour or bitter types and this Dutch Blonde and I would get along just fine at any time of the year, any where in the world.

(bottle, 30cl) Almost clear, golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Biscuity and slightly sugary malty aroma with almost perfumed fruitiness. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Buscuity malty and slightly fruity taste with notes herbal hops, as well as alcohol, especially towards the sweet-bitter finish.
