Dit bovengistende bier heeft een subtiele bitterheid, een krachtige eigen smaak en een unieke, fruitige afdronk. Een bier dat lekker doordrinkt, gebrouwen met Tettnanger- en Cascadehop. Gouverneur Blond is gemaakt met kristalhelder water uit eigen bron, met uitsluitend natuurlijke grondstoffen. De nagisting op fles maakt het bier een tikkeltje troebel en verrijkt het smaakaroma.

(Draught at Café Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 30 July 2010) Clear golden amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of apricots, orange and hints of yeast. Fruity, malty taste with apricots, orange and slightly spicy hops in the finish. Medium body, fairly sweet. Well balanced and quite tasty.

Bottle 300ml. @ home.Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, orange - mandarin, moderate yeasty, fruity, coriander. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20100107]

Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Clear deep golden, brief head. Aroma of buttery malt. Light almondy yeast character. Medium sweet with rounded mouthfeel and solid body. Lightly grassy with a touch of vanilla, but buttery malt dominates.

Golden color, small white head. Lemony "dish-water" aroma, same time sweetish with hints of rye. Malty, ryeish, some sweet spices, maybe vanilla, tickling alcohol. Basic imitation of basic poor quality Belgian blonde.

An orange beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet and very yeasty with notes of coriander. The flavor is sweet and somewhat weird and hard to describe; it contains notes of yeast and oranges with alcohol running over the tongue, before an OK bitter end sets it and lasts.
