Pours hazy amber with a thin tan head. Aroma of hopped malt, honey. Taste has lightly herbal malt, hopped. Palate has classic Oktoberfest malt. Good.

Can, from City Hops. Pours faintly cloudy dark orange with foamy off-white head, malty aroma with faint grassy hops, high carbonation, mildly bitter malty taste with light caramel, thin body, medium finish. A bit weak in taste.

Draft @ Buffalo Brewfest. Clear golden. Malty, bit bready, some sweetness. Dry, biscuity finish.

On tap at Otter Creek, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out bready malt, some cereal and light toasted caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with sweet bready malt, caramel and some cereal notes. Sweet and bready. Solid stuff.

Pours a light copper from a bottle. Big caramel and wheat biscuit aroma, similar flavor. Okay beer.

Draft at 10 Railroad St in Morrisville, VT. Not retired. Cloudy apple sauce colored pour with no head. High hop content for the style. Disappointing. Maybe it should stay retired.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance has a dark copper colored body and left a one finger white foamy head, some nice ringy lacing was left around the sides of the glass. No carbonation was seen rising.
The smell seemed really off, bland and muted caramel tones with some light nuttiness to it.
The taste was basically the same.
The palate was a light to medium with nothing harsh on the tongue, sessionable.
Overall, I’m not that impressed with this beer. I’ve had better Oktoberfests and this isn’t one of them. I won’t seek this out again.
