TITAN IPA is a big, aggressively hopped India Pale Ale brewed for hop disciples. It starts out with piney hop aromas and citrus hop flavors, and finishes with a nice rich, malty sweetness that is balanced with crisp hop bitterness.

From Oct 2005

This pours a beautiful copper and leaves an abundant head that is slow to dissipate. The smell is pure pine to me and I anticipate that this will translate to a strong pine flavour and I'm right.
This is a very bitter ale to me with the malt making only a token presence. I wish it was a bit better balanced but all in all, I could see myself buying this on a regular basis.

Like someone else mentioned...try the Hercules Double for more complexity.

Bottle @Bir&Fud Bottega (Rome). Ambrata carica, appena torbida, schiuma bianca media. Al naso sentori di ossidazione, malto, note citriche, resina. In bocca ha un attacco maltato con finale amaro a cui manca totalmente spunto. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Non freschissima.

0.355l bottle. Dark orange body with a thin white head. Both the aroma and the taste is big on hops. Pine is the most significant character, but it has notes of citruses, toffee and a tiny bit of toast. It has been a while since I had such a bitter IPA. The piney, citrusy hop bitterness stays on the tongue for a long time. Nice IPA.

From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours partially clear, blond with a good head of white foam. Aroma is part citrus and resinous, part caramel, in general very enjoyable. Body is medium-dense. Taste starts with some sweetness, only to be surmounted by intense bitterness. Finish is not particularly long.

0.355 l can from ’BierPost.com’, canned in October 2016 (about five months old). Clear, golden amber with a medium large, slightly creamy mouthfeel, stable, off-white head. A bit faint, sweetish, moderately fruity and a little herbal-grassy aroma of pineapple, lychee and lemon. Sweetish, moderately fruity and herbal-grassy taste of lemon, pineapple, lychee and some orange, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, slightly herbal-grassy finish. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not very interesting to be honest, well-made for sure but a bit too smooth for my liking.
