Bottle at a restaurant in Budapest. Pours hazy coffee brown with stable creamy tan head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel and yeast. Sweetish taste of caramel malt, with some notes of yeast and hoppy touches. Roasty aftertaste with mild acidic and estery notes. Not bad but nothing really impressive.

50cl bottle at HannaRozá, Budapest. Pours clear very dark brown, close to black, with a modest beige head. Malty aroma with dark dried fruits, hints of roasted malt and caramel. Sweet, malty and caramelly with a fairly light bitterness. A bit too much on sweet side for my taste.

Rich brown coloured body with a nice, two centimetre off-white head. Aroma of prunes, raisins, light malt and a bit of earth. Light to Medium-bodied; Earthy flavour of malt and some light peat noticeable, but the prunes, raisins and figs are the strongest here - in a good way. Aftertaste is rich and mostly sweet, but some caramel malt and toffee are noticeable as well. Overall, a nice departure from the pale lagers, and this one has real flavour, especially for being a SAB product. I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from Prima [Grocery Store] in central Budapest on 24-March-2016 for 229HUF sampled a few minutes later in my hotel room here in the centre of Budapest, Hungary on 24-March-2016.

Pours a very dark ruby color with medium beige head. Slightly roasted smell. Full body with medium carbonation. Thick and creamy on the tongue. Taste of roasted malts, a bit of caramel and coffee grains. Strong presence of alcohol in the finish. Overall, very good. Excellent value for money.
