An odd beer. Brown cor. Tall, but thin head. Carbonation seems low on the palate, a light beer in thst regard. Pine, some nitmeg. Lightly sweet and there are hops but not a lot of them. Finish is mildly bitter.

Draft at Shoeless Joe's. Hazy reddish-orange with a creamy beige colored head. Medium lace on the glass. Aroma is full of Christmas spice mix. Flavor is the same with a clean earthy/pine hop underneath. Solid.

Slightly Hazy Dark Reddish Amber Color, Big Long Lasting Foamy Head, Lots Of Lacing. Nice Fruity and Floral Hop, Light Resin Aroma. Sweet Malty, Fruity Hop, Light Resin. Smooth and Pleasant. Easy To Enjoy, Hides ABV Real Well. Local Brewer. Went to Their Brew Pub a While Ago but since they had Long Wait, We did not stick around... Gonna have to make the trip again and plan ahead or be more patient. Nice and Tasty. Gonna Have To Have it Again Next Christmas. Nice Cans. Recommended....

Clear copper with reddish hues and a thin off white head which retains well. Good lacing follows. Hops and pine on the nose, orange pith, spice. Pine forward in the taste, hops, candied sugar, bitter orange peel, touch of spice. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, smooth on the palate and bitter in the finish

A dark brown only slight clarity. Nose has a lot of holiday spice. Nutty and woods and spicy all at the same time. It’s a nice malty taste. Lots of clove and brown sugar and maple syrup. The backbone is nice but it’s not a beer I’d drink often

12 ounce can in to pint glass, canned on 11/8/2013. Pours lightly cloudy reddish copper color with a 1 finger dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, orange zest, orange rind, caramel, bread, floral, grass, pine, light ginger, and floral earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good complexity of bright hop and moderate malt/spice notes; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, orange peel, lemon zest, caramel, bread, floral, grass, pine, light ginger, and floral earthiness. Light floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, orange peel, caramel, bread, floral, grass, light pine, light ginger, and floral earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice flavor balance and complexity of hop, malt, and spice flavors; with a great malt/hop balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice spiced pale ale style. All around good balance and complexity of hop, malt, and spice flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

An orange amber ale with a thick lacing off white head. In aroma, nice caramel malt with good floral hops and nice spices, ginger and cinnamon. In mouth, a nice sweet caramel malt with light fruity esters, grassy floral hops, interesting Xmas offering. On tap at Bad Apple, Chicago.
