Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in color with a three finger eggshell white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: semi-sweet coffee with some earthy, roasty and bitter tones to it; dark chocolate, light sweet wafery malts underneath
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine roasty to bitter and semi-sweet quality; finishes semi-dry with a touch of bitterness from the coffee and dark chocolate
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; fairly smooth along the tongue; very little assertiveness from anything
Overall: nicely done coffee porter worthy of coming back to.

Interesting this brewery made it to O town. Dark black brown pour two finger head. Nose is coffee and roast. Tastes of roasted malt, coffee bean, cocoa nib, charcoal, some milk and earth. Creamy palate low bitterness. Solid. I miss Maine it’s been awhile.

Draught at the brewery, 10/21/16.
Dark, cola-brown body shows good clarity and a light tan head with moderate retention.
Vanilla, rich, earthy coffee notes and lots of oily, dark chocolate in the nose make for quite a strong aroma. No alcohol or flaw, with light caramel/toffee suggestions and a bit of base malt for balance. Roasted bitterness/acidity eases up on the end, as the fruitiness, chocolate, plum and cherry from the coffee takes over, quite enjoyably so.
Medium-bodied with good attenuation, light chocolate-caramel sweetness and lots of earthy, fruity, rich coffee notes. Light vanilla, more caramel and lingering earthiness. Soft, malty-sweet texture with low carbonation and no alcohol or flaw.

Bottle in Jefferson, NH. Pours clear, reddish brown with a creamy tan head. The nose has some burnt coffee, mild cocoa, toasted bread. Light to medium sweet flavor with moderate ashy roast, some baking cocoa, dry and bitter coffee. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry finish with mellow roast, burnt toast, slight baking cocoa, mild coffee, toasty toffee, grains, earth. A little basic but not bad.
