On tap as part of a flight at Real McCoy Ballstrom Spa. Dark maple syrup brown, no sparkle, ring of head and trace lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate. Taste is strong roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste.

Keg at Gabriel's gate. Pours deep brown, nose is roasted, earthy, chocolate, soy sauce, taste is bitter, roasted, chocolate, hint of liquorice.

Tap. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, grains, tempting. Taste is chocolate, sweetish, not too sweet though, good balance. Silky mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Solid, good balance!

On tap at Firkin Tavern in Ewing, NJ. Barely translucent dark brown color. Small creamy tan head. Roasted malt aroma is subdued. Flavor is sweet toasted malt, earthy grain and brown sugar. Medium bodied. Sticky mouthfeel. Nice balance and flavor.

Draught at Bricolage: pours brown with beige head. Aroma is light chocolate, roasty notes, toffee. Sweet, low bitterness. Soft carbonation. Solid.

12oz can thanks to stevoj pours out crisp clean brown topped with a tan head. Nose is nice roast malts nutty notes. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts some roast and a toast touch.

12 oz can from Market in the Square. Dark brown, tight beige head fades to ring. Rich roasty, malty aroma. Taste follows with hints of chocolate, light coffee, nuts. Simple, clean, tasty. Well executed brown ale.
