We love our porters and we love our spicy food! So we had to brew this... Combining a rich complex malt bill with the bitterness and aroma from lots of Cardamon & Coriander & no hops, to create a porter rich in body, super smooth & brimming with character. Perfect with a hot spicy dish.

Bottle shared thanks to Jmgreenuk. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of weedy and nettley hops, even though there’s no hops in this beer, with herbs, spice, cardamon. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbobation.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Kris Wines. Pours black-brown with a dense, frothy khaki head. The nose has some wintery spices or something, I guess some coriander, along with a bit of milk chocolate. Light to medium sweet flavor with mellow roasted malts, lightly bitter baking cocoa, dry mint, toasted bread. Light to medium bodied with fine, smooth carbonation. Moderately sweet to finish with more minty essence, a bit of burnt wood, short-duration cocoa. Novel stuff, pretty dynamic. Nicely balanced overall, and very drinkable. Solid.

Bottle from Drinkmonger. Black body with ruby highlights and a thin beige head that quickly fades. Excellent lacing. Aroma of chocolate, plum and cardamom. Flavour of milk chocolate and sweet, rich malts. Medium body with a slick, oily texture. Soft fizz. For a no-hop beer, this is very good.
