We love our porters and we love our spicy food! So we had to brew this... Combining a rich complex malt bill with the bitterness and aroma from lots of Cardamon & Coriander & no hops, to create a porter rich in body, super smooth & brimming with character. Perfect with a hot spicy dish.

Gravity cask @ Gravity Station, Cardiff. Dark brown, so close to black. Still, no carbonation. Aroma of roast coffee, hickory nuts, malt, alcohol. The taste is quite something: sweetness held back only by the perfect amount of crisp hop bitterness. Lingering bittersweet nutty finish. Incredible stuff.

(Cask at Craft Islington, London, 10 Apr 2014) Black colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, chocolate, ginger and cardamom. Malty, roasted taste with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, ginger, juniper berries, spices and a balanced roasted bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and quite spicy. Nice one.

Cask at the Euston Tap. It pours near black with a bubbly, dirty beige head. The nose is roasted malt, toast, cocoa, rocky road and baking chocolate. The taste is roasted malt, toast, cocoa, light bitterness, touch of pepper and treacle with a dry, roasty finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Well-rounded, smooth and well balanced. A solid porter.
