330ml bottle, thanks to Benzai! Pours black with evil tan head. Big whisky aroma. Thick, slick body with a deep fiery whisky influence, perhaps a little too much for my tastes.

Bottle, thanks SirLimpsalot. Black with a small tan head. Smoke, whisky, peat and some alcohol. Not bad but a bit harsh.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 03/2015
Aroma has strong peaty tones. Also some licorice and whiskey. Flavour is sweet with lots of peat, some salty licorice, stingy whiskey tones and some alcohol. Too peaty, salty and stingy – drinkability is not high enough. Bunnahabhain is strong with this one.

33cl bottle, BBE 12/15. My rating #3000. Pours black in color with a thin, but lasting brownish head. Lovely smoky, Islay whisky aroma, peat as well, covering much everything else. Flavor has peat, tar, smoke, whisky. Can´t remember the other Imperial Stouts from the White Label series were this smoky. Feels quite thin for this ABV. Very smooth. Finishes with some alcohol warmth and peat and licorice candy notes. Love it!

0.33l bottle from my Euro Swap 2, Martinus. Thanks man! Tried to share this with my girlfriend, but she unfortunately did not like this. Tasted like sausage she said... I however really enjoy this aroma. The looks is pretty much as dark and black as it should be. Not much of a head to write home about though. What's there is tiny and rapidly sidestickingy brown. I have to admit that it's quite smoky on the nose! What I would call rope smoky with both salty licorice and lots of thick oily peat. I can kinda understand what my girlfriend did not enjoy by it, but I most definitely enjoy this aroma. It's if perhaps a bit one dimensional but definitely nice for on the nose. Reminds me a lot if a door mat with a little bit of oily tarmac. Oh yeah it's peaty in the taste as well! Loaded with salty rope and thick oily tar. It's softly, really softly carbonated - near flat and it's slickly and oily in the mouth. Salty dry licorice with a ton of wood and smoky peat. Packed with flavor I have to say. It's also a bit sweet I guess. The alcohol is hidden I a way I rarely see. Loaded with flavor in oh so many ways. Just wish my girlfriend could get used to the peaty flavor so that we could share more beers. Now I have to drink her glass as well. Not that that is a bad thing with this one in any way. 03.01.2014

Intensely peated beer. Body of dry roasted malt, with some bitter hops. Aging made it very smokey and peated, bit too much peat maybe, could use some more balance.
