One of our favourite styles - American Brown Ale! Medium bodied with a solid backbone of malt richness. This is balanced with toasty and nutty textures from the roast chestnuts and finished with lashings of hops.

Craft100 fest at Craft Clapham. Almost opaque red tinted dark brown beer. Small pale cream coloured head. Smooth light palate, semi dry. Minerals. Touch of dark chocolate and light toffee. Mild dried fruits and a whisper of spice. Light dry finish. Okay.

Cask at Craft 100. It pours dark mahogany brown with a small beige head. The nose is roasty, toast, earth, caramel and faint ash. The taste is toasty, roast, earth, sweet dried fruits, brown bread, charred wood and light caramel with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Decent enough.

Cask at the Quakerhouse, Darlington. Clear dark reddish brown colour, off-white foam head and aroma of roast malt & coffee. Taste is sweet malty, fruity, toffee, nutty, some coffee and light bitter. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, roast bitter finish. Quite OK.
