This rich and sophisticated golden tripel has earned several international titles thanks to its refined taste marked by notes of grains, fruit and spice, supported by a slight bitterness.
It is a tribute to Quebec, the land encountered by 16th-century French explorers who thought they’d reached the end of the world.

Pours a very cloudy orangey-yellow and is over carbonated in my opinion. The alcohol content provides a nice warmth that complements their belgian yeast strain. Overall a good beer, but I think overrated on here. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fizzy, yeasty, dry brew that’s the color of pineapple juice. Faint whiffs of fruitiness. Light to medium-bodied. Seems close to something great, but never quite comes together in the end.

Shared 750 ml. bottle. Pale golden, cloudy, large fizzy head. Smells of malt, yeast, and some spice. Tastes malt, yeast, hints of fruit and spice. Lots of carbonation. Somewhat similar to a wheat beer.

Bottle from Harvest Market, Bedford NH. Aroma is yeast (that flirts with going over the edge to the overfermented, vomitous side, but doesn’t), a bit like Chardonnay or champagne, with mild fruity esters. Appearance is hazy yellow with mild sparkle and finger-width white fizzy head that dissipates fairly quickly. Lacing does not linger. Taste is balance of moderate fruity sweet and minimally sour. Palate is medium bodied with carbonation that is too lively--like drinking freshly poured ginger ale, with slight initial sting to the front of the tongue that detracts from the taste experience. Finish is dry and abrupt. Overall, a really good beer but not one without faults.

Pours a hazy golden color, topped with a decent white frothy head, ok retention. Malty, yeasty aroma, some fruity notes and spices. Taste is similar, yeasty with some spices, alcohol can be noted, slight malty sweetness and mild bitterness. Not unpleasant, but not to my liking as well.

Pours a hazy straw from the tap, yeasty/lemon nose, smells almost sour. Flavor is a puckering maltiness, dry (IMHO) but still with some light caramel notes. Hides alcohol well. Very good beer.
