clear dark brown, smooth light brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, lacto sweetness, mild roasted. Flavor is quite roasted malty, lacto, brown sugar, coffee like notes,good roasted malty end, with a little hoppy bite, very well balanced and well composed sweet stout. Very tasty.

Bottle 12fl.oz.Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, milky notes. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate malt, roasted, sweet, sugary notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120331]

Bottle: Poured a deep black color stout with a nice large off-white foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of light roasted malt notes with some lactose notes is pretty impressive. Taste is a nice balanced mix between some light dry roasted malt notes which are offset by loads of lactose with a subtle dry coffee finish. Body is quite full with a nice creamy texture and good carbonation with no apparent alcohol. Very well brewed with great drinkability factor.

35,5cl bottle from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malt with notes of milk. Sweet and creamy with quite pleasant chocolate and coffee flavour. The hops are hardly noticable, and it’s a bit too sweet for me, but still quite well balanced. Alcohol is hardly noticable. Finish is slightly dry with a hint of hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste.

355ml bottle. Opaque black with small, slightly lacing beige head. Roasted malt aroma, a nougat touch. Sweet dark malt taste, a cola-like overtone in the second half, decent dry roasty finish. Has a almost light character considering the abv.

Bottle. A dense, finger-thick beige head sits on top of a clear looking reddish dark, dark brown body. Lightly roasted, chocolatey aroma with a faint touch of coffee and some hops. Soft on the nose. The flavor is rather similar, with a hoppyness to support it. Well, I think it’s a bit unbalanced. Of course it needs hops and bitterness, but here it overpowers the stout-ish flavors. Soft and mellow on the palate, rather thin actually, quite unexpected for a beer at this strength. It’s a nice beer, but I have to say I’m a bit disappointed. But I still wouldn’t mind drinking it again. 120405

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of chrisv10. Pours a clear dark brown with an orange hue and a beige head. Sweet vanillaish roast in the nose. Rich body, sweet roast, some dark chocolate and a rather bitter finish from both hops and roast. I’m not REALLY a great fan of lactose sugars in my beer. 030412
