Black, no head. Aroma of chocolate, alcohol, coffee, sweet honey, caramel, butterscotch, vanilla, bourbon, whisky, light ash. Sweet flavour. Soy sauce, cream, cocoa, spicy wood. Sweet finish, alcohol, soy sauce, caramel, cocoa.
Definitely great stuff! And balanced enough, especially with the small glasses. Not sure if I’d want to drink a whole bottle of this, but o boy, in this small glass it is a great little delight.

Boreft Beer Festival 2012. Black with a small off-white head. Aroma of licorice, dark chocolate and dried fruit, with a touch of smoke - complex and well balanced. Sweet licorice and fruit dominated flavour with a touch of smoke and a yeasty note.

From tap at Borefts. Pours pitch black with a fully gone head. Aroma is dense dark malty and roasted. Almost tarish. Dense malty, fruity and vanilla. Smooth bourbon and lingering dense dark malty. Bitter and dark roasted.

Draft @ Borefts - probably the fairest of Molen stouts at Borefts & one of the better ones so far - like others it never strays terribly far from the outer ones - outstanding stuff as usual - if 3 Floyds bottled this and did a special release - everyone on RB would be dying for a bottle - reddish black with no head - soy sauce, mocha, roast, tad milky, whiskey, touch peat - boozy soy sauce, chocolate, mocha, roast, peaty in the throat, whiskey, light smoke, sweetness - oily viscous fair stuff

Draught @ Borefts ’12 (my final beer of the fesitval). Pitch black color, brown head. Aroma’s: alcohol, whisky, sweet chocolate, wood. Flavor is sweet, alcoholic, sweet chocolate. Full body, syruppy almost. Long finish

Saved a bottle for 10 years - the beer mellowed a lot, hardly any barrel left, but nice sweetish, chocolate, syruppy, low carbonation. Aged lovely

On tap at BBF’12. Black colour, light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, sweet soy sauce, roasted malts, sweet whisky, coffee. Flavour is quite sweet, whisky, chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, hint of tobacco, soy sauce, earth, bittersweet finish. Fullbodied. An assault of flavours, really nice.
