An auburn red ale with subtle malt undertones and a pleasing aroma of vine fruits. This rich ale is brewed with Rye Crystal malt providing it with a distinctive spiced and peppery aroma, with pleasant woody flavours.

Bottle. A deeper red coloured ale, not much head. It has a pleasant rich sweetness in both in aroma and taste with an underlying sweet fruitiness.

Bottled, 0.50l. Clear ruby brown color with medium creamy tan-like head, good lacing and almost flat appearance. Aroma of moderate toasted malt, caramel, grassy hops, flowers and dried fruits. Taste starts with rich and sweet malt, followed by refreshing fruity acidity, while finished nicely roasted and heavy bitter. Medium to full body, creamy texture and average natural carbonation in palate. Great example of tasty combination of Golding hops within ales...

0.5L bottle at home, dark red beer with a light brown head, aroma of some sort of fruit and malt, taste is light bitter, almost no carbo, a bit watery but nothing bad. Overall not a bad beer.

Nice red brown colour. Not much aroma - unusual for red ales. Conservatively sweet taste. Gorgeous mouthfeel.

500ml flask bottle. Burgundy-brown body. Thin, soda-like head. Big, rich, malty, probably nowhere near fresh. Thick caramel and amber malt tones, very malt forward. Cherry wood tones, birch, bark. Slightly oxidized, we cardboard action. Not horrendous, but not good at all. Disappointing, certainly.

Bottle. Pours clear ruby with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and hop. Bitter but not unpleasant taste. Watery. Ok but nothing particularly impressive.
