Sweet New England maple syrup and a distinct pecan note define this balanced porter. The roasted character of our blend of malts complements the maple sweetness with hints of coffee and chocolate. Reddish-black in color, this full-bodied brew has a sweet and slightly nutty finish.

Lots of potential but pretty much a fail. The pecan presence in it was very disappointing.

Sample. Nice balance of maple syrup, pecan, and roasty nutty character in a porter. Not bad.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear dark brown with a half finger of off white head. Aroma of maple and roasty nuts with a little coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is medium sweet. Roasty coffee and nuts with loads of maple syrup. Full bodied with a slightly sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a super long finish. Overall, really great. I would take this in a 6pkdifferent any day.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear, dark, amber color with a frothy off-white head. Aromas of maple and pecan (gosh, just like the label says!). Taste is very sweet with flavors of maple, pecan, and a hint of coffee. Has medium-to-full body with a creamy texture. Carbonation is lively. Finish is long and just a touch astringent.
If I had to sum up this beer in one word, it would be "Tasty!".

12 oz bottle from the Spring Variety pack. Pour looks more like a brown ale than a porter--itβs dark brown and looks ruby red in the light; has a receding beige head that leaves a little lace. Aroma consists of dough and maple syrup, maybe a little licorice; the nuttiness comes out after it sits awhile; also some wet river rock. Taste is sweet, nutty, delicious. Body is on the thin side, carbonation pretty high for style. Lip-smacking good.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a black color with a huge foamy dark tan head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet and malty cocoa, maple and coffee. The flavor was semi-sweet and somewhat bitter with notes of coffee, cocoa, maple, wood and faint toasty malts, Medium length toasty cocoa and coffee finish. Medium body. Pleasant but a touch too bitter IMHO.

12oz bottle. A rich and sweet in your face maple caramel porter. Toasted pecan character shines through. A really enjoyable dessert beer, but way too sweet and one dimensional to session on. A cool one for the mix pack a dumbed down version of what the craft beer industry is capable of, not one Iβd revisit.
