Pours near black with a one finger tan head. The aroma is of dark roast malt, coffee and chocolate. The flavor is similar, a full roasty flavor with well balanced bitterness and a dry finish. This is a surprisingly good stout at a low price point.

12 oz. bottle from Trader Joe's. Pours an opaque black color with dark ruby highlights and a large tan head and great retention. Very good lacing. Nice nitro action. Aroma of dark malts and some molasses. Flavors of dark malt, molasses, and a little dark chocolate and coffee in the finish. Semi-creamy mouthfeel. Medium body. Lightly bitter. Okay, but too much molasses for me. Dark roasted malt flavor too, with some dark cocoa notes. Lightly sweet. Smooth and Semi-creamy mouthfeel. Medium-heavy body. No bitterness. Definitely better than my first can in 2022. 81 --> 87. Solid.

12oz bottle from Trader Joe's. Near black pour, fizzy brown head. Aroma is chocolate, notes of licorice. Taste flattens out, light chocolate, but not very sweet. Something a bit off, can't place it

Black body with off white head. Aroma malt chocolate and coffee. Coffee, oats and chocolate in the full taste. Finish just drops off.
