Bottle from Birratrovo, Como; bottled 02.07.13, bb 02.11.13; 5.3% ABV
Hazy golden color with medium sized frothy head. The aroma is initially very fresh and fruity; it shows some spices and yeast later. The mouthfeel is very dry; good malt flavor and spicy yeast character; strong bitterness, with a good quantity of hop resins and hop fruitiness.
In the very first minute, it seems extremely fruity and fresh, it becomes more abrasive later.

Bottle from Cornelius. This version is 5.3%. Murky golden body with a thin white head. Light lacing. Mild aroma of grass and lemon flavoured sweets. Flavour is sour grapefruit and lemon with a slightly peppery finish. Thin to medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. A decent APA, but not the most interesting.

330ml bottle from Ales by Mail

Bottled 08.03.2013 - Pours clear golden with a smooth white head. Aroma of hay, grassy hops, pine and stingy citrus. Taste is grassy and citrusy with notes of hay and pine. Finish is stingy and hoppy. Okay, but not the best Kernel (I)PA around.

12 oz. bottle at Euston Tap, pours a cloudy golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of crackery malts, citrus hops, and some floral hops. Flavour brings out crackery malts, some dry piney hops, and a little floral hops. Very nice session pale ale, very smooth and dry. Solid thirst-quenching pale ale.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy orangey golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Hopy aroma has notes of grapefruit, pinapple and citrus. Taste is minimally sweet caramel malty, bitter hoppy overtones with a grapefruit note; sweetness fades completely in the finish and gives way for a minimally biting, bitter hoppy finish. Excellent.
