Golden und glasklar im Glas. Heller Schaum, nicht sehr viel davon. Blumenbeet, Streuostwiese und Getreidefeld in der Nase. Geschmacklich haben wir Getreide und Malz und vor allem herbe Zitrusnoten (Zitronensaft und -schale und einen Hauch Grapefruit und Mandarine). Die bitteren Fruchtnoten bestimmen bei den ersten 2 - 3 Schlucken, dann kommt doch auch noch die Malzsüße schön durch und der Hopfen steuert zusätzlich ein paar florale und harzige Noten bei. Viel, sehr feinperlige Kohlensäure - wirkt dadurch etwas scharf. Insgesamt ein recht brauchbares Kölsch. Macht Spaß.

Ein sehr blumiges Aroma, frisch, leicht fruchtig und trocken. Sicherlich eines der besseren Kölsch-Biere.

Aroma of malt, grain, cardboard. Flavour is grainy, a little sweetness, with a light bitter finish. Not being a fan of Kölsch, this one did not do much to change that view.
