Bottle at Fiddler. Pours hazy amber with an off white head. Aroma of toffee, caramel, malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Light medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Thx. for the draft sample @ Delrium Hoppy Loft. Orange with a nice white head. Smell is not to bad, bit affected but some sweet marmalade, peel, floral bitterness,… Taste on the other hand is not too stellar, bitter band-aids, sweet floral, chunk of paper, plaster, floral bitterness, yeasty, sweeter malts,… Lighter, tad easier. Maybe it has been affected by the travel, age or something bit it feels like it is supposed to be this way, not my cup of tea or rather snifter of beer.

Bottled. Dark coppery colour with a frothy off-white that quickly dissapears. Aroma is very light toasty and caramel. Flavor is caramelish, light bittery and dry in the final with a sweet aftertaste.

It poured a clear amber and gave the same color body. A small white head appeared and barely lasted fifteen seconds before dieing altogether into the body. No lacing is left behind. The smell has the caramel up front with some light inviting fruits, slight citrus. The taste is the same with a slightly dry aftertaste. The palate is about a light to medium with some light harshness on the tongue. It had a bitter finish and is fairly drinkable. Overall, pretty good for the most part, just not a standout, and I will have again.

Bottle. Light amber color, looks like a glass of weak bleck tea, small foamy tan head, doughy aroma, sweetish taste with a tangy ending, high carbonation, long finish. Interesting but not special.

Jest to jeden ze słabszych przedstawicieli z Flying Doga jakie piłem. Kolor ładny, jasno-bursztynowy. Lukrecjowy posmak w ustach i gorycz na finiszu. Piana gruba, ale mało trwała. Anchor Steam sporo lepszy.

0.355l bottle from a supermarked in Monfalcone. This one pours a quite good looking near clear deep amber body. When holding it against the light I can see something that looks like eye-floaters! The second time over a small period that I see this in a beer. It has a quickly fading and sidesticking off-white head. The aroma is malty, light fruity and caramel sweet. Quite low, and definitely not extreme in any way. It has a soft oily mouthfeel and it's average carbonated. Light and soft flavors as well. Thin caramel, light cacti-fruitiness. It's a bit on the sweet side with some sweet almost honey-like undertones in the aftertaste, so one is definitely enough. Tasty and all that, but nothing extraordinary. 08.06.2012
